Project Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to lead the implementation of multi-discipline projects on site. This role will involve justifying, designing, and executing projects from initiation through to successful completion.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in factory engineering/maintenance, including management of multicountry/multiple process engineering projects involving resources from diverse disciplines.

The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, including proficiency in project management tools such as TPM, KPI, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and project controlling tools. Fluency in English is required, with Spanish being an asset.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage capital projects and studies.
  • Develop project scopes, cost estimations, credit applications, and specifications.
  • Monitor compliance with design and construction parameters, respecting all norms and regulations and EHS.
  • Implement and apply appropriate project monitoring tools.
  • Support project teams in the project execution.
  • Support local project management in resource and contingency planning.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Plant Engineering or Maintenance Certification.
  • 2 or more years of experience in factory engineering/maintenance, including management of multicountry/multiple process engineering projects involving resources from diverse disciplines.
  • 1 year of experience in people management preferred.
