About the Role

This Installation Specialist position is an excellent opportunity to join a leading fire protection team and help redefine the industry with a customer-first approach.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cut, thread, and groove pipe according to manufacturer specifications to ensure safe and efficient installations.
  2. Install conduit and run stainless steel cable safely and efficiently.
  3. Program and test fire suppression panels to guarantee proper functionality.
  4. Lay out system installations per manufacturer's guidelines and communicate effectively with customers to meet their needs.
  5. Read and interpret vendor manuals, blueprints, and work orders accurately for precise installations.
  6. Use hand and power tools for installations while maintaining a safe working environment.
  7. Complete and record information onto field reports accurately and promptly.
  8. Troubleshoot and repair faulty installations with minimal downtime.
  9. Maintain documentation and reports related to work, adhering to company standards.
  10. Evaluate customer sites for additional equipment or services opportunities.
  11. Work safely, adhering to safety protocols outlined in the company's manual and best practices.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required; industry experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary; willingness to travel within Pennsylvania is expected.
  • A strong attention to detail, with accuracy and precision, is crucial for success in this role.
  • The ability to read blueprints and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, is essential.
  • Familiarity with fire codes and sprinkler systems, with a commitment to safety, is a must.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various conditions, including heights and adverse weather, is necessary.
  • Experience with lift operations and OSHA guidelines, with a focus on safety, is desirable.
