Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager at Turner & Townsend, you'll take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, ensuring client objectives are met through effective service delivery. You'll interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages, managing overall project cost, schedule, and budgets, as well as managing general contractors and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
  • Run and lead client and other required meetings, presenting updates to the client at all project stages.
  • Identify factors that influence construction costs and monitor and report on this data.
  • Support engineering decisions relating to project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.
  • Review requests for payment.
  • Track and ensure equipment meets the project schedule.
  • Record occurrences that might result in a claim, acting on the client's behalf.
  • Advocate on the client's behalf during disputes, disagreements, modifications, or change orders.
  • Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews on the project.
  • Review and approve final invoices, payment applications, and retention payments.
  • Oversee and manage the transfer of building operations to the client, including all close-out documentation and warranties.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years' experience working in a similar position.
  • Sector experience in Mission Critical, Life Science Construction.
  • Architects, Engineering, or other construction-related degree.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese, Spanish is a plus.
