Junior Network Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot networking and user end problems
  • Reporting and escalating requests to management
  • Perform documentation creation and updates
  • Prepare and deploy user equipment, and decommission equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Assist with installation and maintenance of company systems
  • Install, configure, and support LAN, WAN, WIFI, and Internet
  • Manage and track HD Support Tickets, and provide solutions
  • Provide 1st-level support (Hardware/Software)
  • Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation, and resolve problems
  • Diagnose computer problems, install hardware and software upgrades
  • Install and repair hardware, software, or peripheral equipment
  • Provide printers support, replace toners on printers and copiers
  • Maintain the physical condition of premises in a safe, healthy, and clean manner

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Any degree in Computer Technology, Network Administration, Network Communications, or related field
  • Familiarity with networking, Windows operating systems
  • Ability to independently solve problems, strong sense of self-direction
  • Strong skills with Windows operating systems
  • General understanding of server, laptop, printer, and other hardware and software
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts
  • Comprehensive knowledge of PCs, printers, networks, and networking devices
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Verifiable knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems, virus detection software
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Databases (SQL) basic experience, knowledge, or certification
  • Jira knowledge is a plus
  • Portuguese proficiency, intermediate English and/or Spanish
