Job Overview

We are seeking a Security Analyst to join our team in protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and security of business and employee information and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct advanced incident response analysis to collect, store, and correlate security data from various sources.
  • Implement, configure, and optimize the detection and reporting capabilities of our global security tool suite.
  • Collect and analyze intrusion artifacts, such as event logs, source code, and malware, to support incident response actions.
  • Support, mentor, and train junior cybersecurity analysts in their roles.
  • Conduct rapid incident response activities and cyber event investigations, formulating technical response actions to mitigate or contain cyber threats.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4+ years of direct experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, incident response, and security tool integration and operations.
  • Preferred 4+ years of direct experience with Splunk, Fidelis, Falcon Host, Firewall, and IDS/IPS technologies.
  • 3-5 cumulative years of prior experience in system administration, application development, database administration, LAN administration.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or programming.
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as GSEC, GCIA, CEH. CISCO highly desired.
  • Intermediate scripting knowledge in Perl, PHP, ASP, or Java with recent and basic programming experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance-oriented industries preferred.
  • Advanced understanding and demonstrated technical skills and abilities in the technical information security operations domain.
  • Ability to conduct analysis of multiple data sources and provide assessments on the relationship between threats, vulnerability, and information value in risk management.
  • Bi-lingual/multi-lingual candidates preferred; English required, Spanish good to have.
  • Solid understanding of risk-based decision-making concepts, including risk analysis, mitigation, and resolution.
