Senior Linux Systems Architect

Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead production and project support for Linux environments.
- Manage installations, patching, migrations, and scripting using Shell and Perl programming languages.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across multiple platforms.
- Optimize system performance and availability to ensure business continuity.
- Cultivate and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with ITIL-based tools and monitoring systems to improve incident management and problem resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in Linux and Unix systems administration.
- In-depth expertise in filesystem, volume, and storage management.
- Strong knowledge of networking, clustering (PCS), and system hardening practices.
- Familiarity with SAN/NAS, backup tools, and storage suites.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours as required by the business.
- Advanced English language proficiency is essential for this role.
Bonus Points:
- Linux certification can be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in German language is a plus.
- Experience with Veritas Cluster, Apache, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP technologies is highly valued.
