Software Development Leadership Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Software Development Manager to spearhead our engineering team. In this position, you will oversee daily operations, provide strategic guidance, and drive initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong people management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical leadership: Lead complex and multi-disciplinary projects, assist the team in problem-solving, offer technical suggestions and feedback, ensure quality, performance, and security.
  • Project Management: Ensure valuable project deliveries, manage timelines, ceremonies, project metrics, remove obstacles, report project status, collect and apply lessons learned, propose changes to the existing software development process to achieve better results.
  • People Management: Evaluations, IDP, feedback, 1:1 meetings, ensure processes are followed, improve productivity, develop technical and soft skills, motivate the team, provide career direction, oversee hiring and dismissal processes, and retain talents.
  • Relationship management with multiple stakeholders (both technical and business), taking accountability to deliver software solutions and secure the development team's commitment.
  • Suggest and promote process improvements.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent work experience;
  • Experience with Software Development;
  • Experience in a leadership role in software development projects;
  • Experience in delivering software projects, management, building, and staffing of software development teams;
  • Ability to manage customer expectations while working with cross-functional teams to meet delivery goals;
  • Knowledge and experience in agile methodologies;
  • Drive to innovate and deliver roadmap features with agility and high quality;
  • Hands-on profile, actively involved in technical and architectural discussions.
