About the role:
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage our content delivery process and ensure alignment with user intent. This is a highly operational role where you will directly oversee workflows, guarantee smooth execution, and work closely with content managers, SEO teams, product departments, and other stakeholders to maintain high-quality standards.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys getting involved in details.
The priority markets under your responsibility include Nigeria, South Africa, Bangladesh, India, Russia, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic.
As our Head of Content, you will:
- Oversee and manage the content production process to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- BUILD AND DEVELOP A TEAM BY CREATING NECESSARY TOOLS, PROCESSES, AND TRAINING PROGRAMS.
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship to the content team, fostering quality, growth, collaboration, and innovation.
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate team performance and productivity, conduct regular reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
- Streamline the content production process, ensuring smooth communication between teams, market contacts, and other departments.
- Gather feedback from content managers to identify areas for process optimization.
- Collaborate with Market Managers and SEO Experts to align content priorities with business goals and audience needs.
- Refine content topics, prioritizing high-impact keywords and opportunities based on market and business insights.
- Work with cross-functional teams to set and adapt the strategy of each website.
- Track performance by monitoring content metrics to optimize engagement and conversions.
- Create clear content briefs with goals, keywords, and audience insights.
- Set deadlines and expectations, establishing timelines, deliverables, and quality standards for smooth workflows.
- Develop a content strategy for new assets with a clear calendar, aligned with business objectives.
Content Quality Check:
- Prepare and share guidelines with Content Managers, ensuring content meets requirements, adheres to SEO standards, and aligns with business objectives.
- Incorporate fact-checking and accuracy into writer guidelines.
- Guarantee consistency in tone, style, and formatting across all content, aligned with brand standards.
- Optimize internal linking structures to guide users through the site and boost SEO performance.
Requirements:
- Mandatory: 3+ years of experience in a similar content management role within the iGaming industry (sports betting and online casino).
- Mandatory: Native English speaker with strong writing skills, able to produce clear, persuasive, and engaging content.
- Mandatory: Strong business-driven mindset with a clear understanding of what type of content converts.
- Mandatory: Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in on-page SEO.
- Ability to build and manage a content development strategy.
- Proven experience in organizational and project management roles.
- Data-driven mindset: analytical, results-oriented, and comfortable with KPIs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Solid experience in content writing for SEO purposes.
- Familiarity with tools such as WordPress, Ahrefs, Clarity, and other content-related solutions.
- Bonus: Russian, Bulgarian, or Czech language skills.
