Material Handling Job Summary

This position plays a vital role in the operational success of our plant, ensuring that raw materials and finished products are transported safely and efficiently throughout the facility.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Safe Material Transportation: Operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished products, adhering to strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Work closely with team members to ensure accurate inventory records, updating the computer system as necessary.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks using a forklift, maintaining a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure continued operation.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate material movement and achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • Industrial Experience: Previous experience operating an industrial powered truck is essential.
  • Education and Language Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Manufacturing Background: 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work overtime or on weekends as needed, adapting to changing demands and priorities.
