About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for disseminating clinical information about Gilead's innovative products to thought leaders, academic institutions, healthcare professionals, and professional organizations. This will involve delivering timely, accurate, and succinct clinical and scientific presentations to healthcare professionals, as well as participating in advisory boards, symposia, and educational programs.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement defined goals and objectives aligned with the Medical Affairs Plan of Action and other strategic initiatives.
- Cultivate and maintain working relationships with existing and future thought leaders in an assigned geographic territory.
- Collaborate with colleagues across other functional areas to support the development and deployment of field tools and resources.
- Complete required administrative and training procedures in a timely fashion, including expense reports and documentation of interactions.
- Demonstrate a deep level of knowledge and understanding of the science behind the relevant disease state and its treatment.
- Maintain a comprehensive awareness of current 'real world' clinical practices, HEOR drivers, and emerging trends in treatments.
- Demonstrate the ability to compare Gilead's products and pipeline relative to competitors' products and channels in compliance with local guidelines.
- Conduct meaningful scientific exchange and communicate complex scientific information and data in an organized and efficient manner.
- Respond to inquiries in an unbiased and timely fashion and present data in a scientifically rigorous, fair/balanced manner relative to Gilead and competitors' products and pipeline.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development within a dynamic and innovative company.
