Lead Innovation in R&D Product Development - Job Description
">Job Title: Senior Scientist">This role involves driving formulation development, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic innovation aligned to business goals.
The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership, a deep understanding of regulatory trends, and the ability to optimize products, processes, and costs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
">Develop new product ideas from concept to commercialization.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver seamless launches and business results.
Utilize sensory testing and consumer research to ensure our confections meet expectations for flavor, texture, and delight.
Lead plant trials and scale-up with technical rigor, troubleshooting challenges and ensuring smooth start-ups.
Improve formulas, processes, and workflows to elevate product quality, reduce costs, and boost operational efficiency.
Monitor changing ingredient and labeling regulations to ensure compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related technical field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.)
6+ years of experience in R&D in the Food, Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) space
Hands-on knowledge of ERP (SAP), Bill of Materials, and nutritional labeling software
Excellent communication, project leadership, and problem-solving skills
