
Human Resources Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting and enhancing core HR operations, acting as a trusted partner to both employees and managers.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, and prior experience with HR, People Operations, or a related field is preferred. They will also possess exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:- Support full-cycle recruitment, from job postings, sourcing, interviews and onboarding.
- Ensure a smooth, positive experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain and update HRIS systems with a focus on data integrity, reporting accuracy, and process improvements.
- Support benefits administration, leave tracking, and policy implementation.
- Support the development and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Assist in identifying training needs and developing customized programs for employees at all levels.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust as needed.
- Help ensure compliance with labor laws and internal procedures, supporting audits and documentation.
- Collaborate on HR projects, from performance management to engagement initiatives.
- Assist with processing HR-related invoices and manage purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) in coordination with the Finance team.
- Assist with day-to-day employee relations by responding to questions, escalating concerns, and supporting positive workplace interactions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience with Human Resources, People Operations, or related experience is preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and an ability to learn new software quickly. Experience with an HRIS preferred.

This is a remote role based out of California with a requirement to be onsite at the Davis, CA office as needed.
