Job Title: Therapeutic Recreation Program DeveloperDescription:

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks an entry-level Therapeutic Recreation Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive therapeutic recreation programs for patients in various settings.

  • This position requires a strong background in therapeutic recreation, with experience working with individuals with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in therapeutic recreation.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Certification (TCI) is preferred.
