Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data migration strategies that meet the highest standards of quality and integrity.

Our ideal candidate is a skilled data migration specialist with a strong background in Salesforce, relational databases, SQL, and scripting. You will work closely with internal and external teams to coordinate cutovers and validate migrated data.

We are looking for someone who can deliver under tight deadlines, has a strong analytical mindset, and is able to troubleshoot complex issues.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end data migration projects, including extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.
  2. Write and optimize complex SQL and SOQL queries for data validation, migration, and reconciliation.
  3. Build, configure, and run ETL jobs to move and transform data across Salesforce, ERP, and external databases.
  4. Develop and maintain automation scripts (APEX, Python, Shell, PowerShell, or similar) for data processing, cleansing, and quality checks.
  5. Perform data profiling, mapping, and transformation to meet business and technical requirements.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues such as data mismatches, performance bottlenecks, and integrity errors.
  7. Collaborate with internal and external teams to coordinate cutovers and validate migrated data.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • 5+ years of direct experience in data migration, ETL, or database engineering roles.
  • Strong technical expertise in relational databases (Salesforce, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar).
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (query optimization, joins, stored procedures).
  • Practical experience with Salesforce SOQL, APEX, and Salesforce data model.
  • Proven track record in data migration projects, including reconciliation and cutover planning.
  • Hands-on scripting skills in Python, Shell, PowerShell, or similar.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools, APIs, and bulk data processing.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
