Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Security Delivery Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining firewall systems that protect our systems and data from potential threats.

This position requires a deep understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience in deploying enterprise security solutions such as Cisco ASA and Firepower, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto, with a proven track record of success operating in a complex, ambiguous environment.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain firewall solutions that align with our organization's security policies and standards.

Key responsibilities include monitoring network traffic and analyzing logs to identify and respond to security incidents and breaches.

You will configure and fine-tune firewall rules, access controls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems to ensure optimal protection.

Additionally, you will conduct regular security assessments of the network infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.

Incident response and investigation skills are also essential in this role.

You will develop and maintain documentation of firewall configurations, policies, and procedures.

Furthermore, you will participate in the development of disaster recovery and incident response plans to ensure network resiliency and business continuity.

Effective communication and training skills are required to share knowledge with IT teams and employees.

This role involves close collaboration with customers to provide recurring updates and management reports for security requests and day-to-day operations.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong customer communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to resolve network issues quickly and effectively
  • Network design, routing, DNS, IP subnetting
  • Familiarity with multiple network and security technologies including: global telecom transports, routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF), switching, capacity management, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, network security controls, network monitoring
  • Knowledge and expertise in security technologies; Cisco ASA, Firepower, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto
  • Fluent in English; excellent oral and written communication skills required
