Network Security Specialist

As a senior network security specialist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Network Vulnerability Management Program. This role leads the vulnerability process from intake to remediation execution, collaborating with Information Security and OEMs to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of professionals responsible for maintaining 100% of the network devices patched according to the latest OS version across multiple platforms/OEMs.
  • Partner with Information Security & Engineering teams to manage network vulnerabilities from intake to remediation.
  • Generate reports from Release Management & Vulnerability management and facilitate weekly governance meetings.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for the Vulnerability & Release Management program, encompassing processes, tools, automation, and reporting.

Requirements:
  • Expertise in enterprise network operations and experience in managing complex networks.
  • Strong knowledge in routing/switching, WAN technologies, EIRGP/BGP, VPN, SDWAN, Cloud connectivity, and WLAN.
  • Analyzing and prioritizing identified vulnerabilities based on risk level.
  • Collaborating with various teams to develop and implement remediation plans.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in vulnerability management.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
