About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, with experience in internet, e-commerce, and retail companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Effectively prioritizing and managing a pipeline of merchants to consistently meet/exceed quarterly targets
- Partnering with new merchants to provide them with data-driven insights and advice to optimize their success on Amazon
- Working closely with new merchants to educate them about Amazon's high standards of delivery and customer experience
- Enabling merchants to learn and master Amazon's tools and systems to become self-sufficient in managing their catalog, inventory, and performance efficiently and to the required standards
- Learning and understanding the specificities of various categories to spot trends, seasonal items, and competitive pricing to tailor advice to merchants
- Tracking and reporting development results, analyzing, and interpreting reports and information for a portfolio of merchants
- Prioritizing time optimally to achieve targets in a KPI-driven environment
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade, convince, and explain complex concepts in a simple manner
- Adaptability, curiosity, and persistence to achieve great results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
