We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our team in financial operations.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the Accounts Payable (AP) team, establishing priorities, and training for professional development. They will work closely with the finance manager to implement financial systems and provide information to management as requested.
Responsibilities- Supervise, train, motivate and evaluate performance of team members.
- Establish regional policies and SOPs, aligning with operations and financial teams and management.
- Lead vendor payments, providing a customer excellence experience.
- Manage Concur travel expenses, dealing with issues with operations and reporting expense provisions to accounting on a timely manner.
- Responsible for Corporate Credit card administration and properly booking.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate data in accounting software.
- Complete month-end duties as outlined on the close checklist or as requested.
- Reconcile AP balance sheet and income statements accounts, research errors and work with appropriate teams and members of management to correct variances and improve processes for accounts that may have recurrent problems.
- Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place.
- Degree in accounting or business administration.
- Experience with Oracle Financials or another ERP system.
- Proven experience with collections, billing and/or finance experience.
- Leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills (ability to recognize and resolve issues).
- Computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros) and Microsoft 365 applications.
- English advanced.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and to handle stress.
