The role of Procurement Specialist involves working with technical data, interpreting engineering documents, managing negotiations and purchase orders, identifying cost reduction opportunities, ensuring timely delivery of products with quality standards met.
- Interpreting technical data through Engineering documents;
- Managing negotiations and purchase orders;
- Identify cost reduction opportunities;
- Ensuring that products are delivered on time and with quality;
- Assisting other departments in problem solving;
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers on an ongoing basis;
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating supplier performance;
Key qualifications include a degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or equivalent, advanced English skills, knowledge in Purchasing / Supply Chain processes, experience in SAP, good knowledge in Excel, and desirable knowledge of Big Data and negotiation skills.
