As a Senior Payroll Manager, you will lead a payroll team located in Brazil and Costa Rica. The team comprises 20 payroll specialists and 2 team managers. Your responsibilities will include leading the team's operations, managing performance metrics, ensuring compliance, and improving processes.
This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage payroll operations efficiently. You will interact with senior stakeholders worldwide.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to customers while maintaining high controllership standards.
- Contribute to strategic planning and departmental vision based on industry knowledge.
- Develop and communicate team goals and vision.
- Broaden learnings and best practices across global markets.
- Review team reports for accuracy and follow up on errors.
- Build and monitor a consolidated annual operating plan to forecast headcount needs.
- Partner with external stakeholders such as HR, Tech, Legal, and Accounting.
The ideal candidate has experience in tax, finance, or related analytical fields, advanced proficiency in Excel, and experience with Accounts Receivable or Account Payable. They should also be proficient in analyzing financial data, creating reports, and implementing process improvements.
