This senior-level position involves managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring overall accuracy, timeliness, and employee experience for all payroll-related activities. Key responsibilities include leading payroll and taxes calculations, payments, and accounting.
Job Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and great employee experience.
- Lead talents and people development plans.
- Perform stakeholder management, promote strong partnerships.
- Handle cross-areas and cross-countries payroll-related projects.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead process reviews, continuously looking for improvements opportunities to bring efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for building presentations and business cases, preparing content, coordinating meetings and workshops with participants from different areas, geos, and levels.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Law, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in payroll for Brazil or related field.
- 5+ years of project and people management experience.
- Extensive knowledge in local labor legislation and ancillary obligations.
Preferred qualifications include specialization in Project Management (e.g., MBA) and/or PMI certification, knowledge and experience managing payroll for other countries within South/Latin America, and experience in a Fortune 500 and/or consulting company.
