The Production Technician role is a critical part of our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of plant process and utility systems.
Main Responsibilities:- Initiate, operate, monitor, and shut down process and utility systems to ensure seamless operation.
- Maintain optimal process parameters (level, flow, temperature, pressure, etc.) within established operating requirements.
- Coordinate sampling and respond to sample results as necessary.
- Troubleshoot to maximize sales quality and delivery volume, identifying potential issues.
- Maintain discharge water quality according to current guidelines.
- Operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety devices, and emergency shutdown systems, including Fire and Gas Systems.
- Ensure accurate and timely production reporting and logging.
- Verify third-party calibrations as required for meter factors and volumes.
- Prove export oil meters accurately.
The Production Technician has authority to operate process and utility systems safely and efficiently, and assist in preparing the plant for maintenance.
This role also includes immediate supervision over subcontractors, visitors, vendors, external services, and unplanned or temporary personnel.
Qualifications and Requirements- Proven experience and/or qualification at N/SVQ Hydrocarbon Processing Level 2 or similar level from the country of origin.
- Familiarity with hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
- Knowledge of ESD F&G and DCS operation.
- Good understanding of Permit to Work, Mechanical Isolation Standards, and Risk Assessment.
- Medical fitness according to The Company's Health Requirements to Work Offshore.
