About the Role

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled FX Senior Analyst to join our team. As an FX Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in processing FX transactions originating from trading desks, ensuring timely and accurate execution of transactions, and providing analytical and technical support to Front Office Sales and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • FX Transaction Processing: Process all steps of FX transactions as a Checker, ensuring the smooth running of transactions and adherence to external and internal policies.
  • Analytical and Technical Support: Provide analytical and technical support to Front Office Sales and internal stakeholders, specifically around FX editing flow.
  • SLA Management: Ensure timely FX editing/registering meeting SLAs, external and internal policies.
  • Business Improvement: Close interaction with the business to identify opportunities in terms of customer experience and operational flow improvements.
  • Risk Management: Minimize bank risk, and provide solutions to reduce errors, and ensure adherence to audit and control policies.
  • Escalation and Resolution: Escalate in a timely manner and resolve all requests/inquiries/issues/errors and identify policy gaps and formulate policies to streamline processes.
  • Training and Development: Provide informal guidance and/or on-the-job-training to new team members.
  • Compliance and Governance: Keep all internal FX sanctions screening procedure manuals up to date.
  • Deliverables: Ensure timely MCA/QAP deliverables meeting SLAs.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Communication Skills: Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong FX regulation knowledge, including 4373 Foreign investors transaction.
  • Project Management: Knowledge in Project Management.
  • AML Processing: Knowledge in AML processing and Sanctions screening for FX transactions.
  • Control Orientation: Control oriented.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
