Marketing Strategy Specialist

As a Marketing Strategy Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing campaigns across various social media platforms and email channels.

This role combines content strategy, project management, copywriting, and digital performance analysis. You'll own the content calendar: plan, manage, and execute the content pipeline across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, and email using Notion.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, deploying consistently, staying agile, and driving Darkroom's email strategy in partnership with the Design Lead and Video Lead.

Social Media Management
  • Hands-on ownership of organic presence on Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
  • Write compelling copy: post captions, headlines, and descriptions that match platform-specific tone and brand voice.
  • Community engagement: monitor and respond to comments and DMs, actively engaging with customers, creators, and collaborators.
Paid Media
  • Have an understanding of paid social and ad copywriting.
  • Work with our paid media specialist to optimize Darkroom's paid ads.
SEO, Reporting, Analytics & Performance
  • Monitor performance across all owned platforms and campaigns (social, email, website).
  • Use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to identify friction points and opportunities for optimization.
  • Provide actionable insights, trends, and growth metrics that influence creative direction.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on content, email, and social.
  • Highly organized, autonomous, and thrive in fast-paced, iterative environments.
  • Write with precision and tone, and know how to adapt voice across channels.
  • Know what content performs, and why.
  • Strong project management instincts and can juggle timelines, tasks, and tools.
  • Understand digital performance: worked with analytics tools, know your way around email metrics, and think SEO.

  • Experience working inside an agency.
  • Managed newsletter content and owned media channels.
  • Fluent in Notion, Figma, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, GT Metrix.
