Job Description

Role Summary

Maintaining the highest standards of quality in internal components through thorough product testing, accurate record-keeping, and swift action in response to nonconformities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitoring products and processes in accordance with specification documents, including control plans, test instructions, and work plans.
  • Recording inspection results in compliance with control plans, identifying nonconformities and trends from records.
  • Isolating non-conforming and suspicious components and products, initiating and/or overseeing corrective measures across departments. Organizing the scrapping or return of suspicious or non-conforming components.
  • Training production employees on quality inspection techniques and boundary sample catalogues.
  • Active participation in the Line RPS and RPS/8D process as a team member.
  • Ensuring, in collaboration with the production team, the correct implementation of engineering changes in production (documentation, identification, information).
  • Performing product audits as requested and recording results according to requirements.
  • Supporting measuring and testing for PPAP submissions.
  • Having the authority and responsibility to halt any process or product delivery in case of non-conformance to customer expectations, safety, or environmental risks.
