The ideal candidate will oversee Latin America's budget process, collaborating closely with country leaders and the global finance team.
Key Responsibilities:- Review monthly operating performance of businesses in South America, providing in-depth analysis to local and regional management on profit and loss statements, balance sheet variances, and forecasting.
- Conduct thorough price and cost analysis, taking into account key metrics such as volume, price, mix, exchange rate fluctuations, and raw material inflation.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure accurate resource allocation and correct unit measurement.
- Prepare detailed presentations for senior leadership on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with the Controllership team to ensure profit and loss accuracy and compliance with local regulations in South America.
- Partner with Sales Directors and other business functions to evaluate business profitability.
- Aid in training and development of financial reporting systems and processes, including SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, and Microsoft Business Intelligence.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
- Perform payback and IRR calculations for investments within customers.
- Generate financial data for high-value strategic projects, including revenue enhancement opportunities and cost reduction initiatives.
