As a key member of our team, you will serve as the central liaison between our global finance team and our local office, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between the two.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with current and future local accountancy providers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial accounts and tax compliance.
  • Prepare month-end reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring our management reporting ledger matches our statutory ledger.
  • Report and communicate financial information to stakeholders in Brazil, supported by our global finance team.
  • Work with our financial reporting team in the UK to enact corrections and additional postings required for year-end reporting.
  • Review employee expense claims to ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Prepare payment runs and weekly bank reconciliations.
  • Support our global accounts receivable team on client invoicing in Brazil.
  • Proactively stay on top of legal and tax considerations.
  • Critically assess existing processes and procedures to suggest improvements.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience working with accounting (GAAP/IFRS), tax, and compliance.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English and Portuguese.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to maintain high accuracy and preserve client and firm confidentiality.
