Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring that products are produced in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor production equipment following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that products are produced in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure that machines operate at peak efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to production equipment as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies and practices.
  • Monitor and report updates for the production process to identify and correct issues that may affect product quality or consistency.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, such as equipment performance and product yields.
  • Communicate with other plant personnel regarding production schedules, equipment issues, and product quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating production equipment in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating production equipment is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and equipment monitoring a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills required.

Work Environment

Our manufacturing facility operates on a standard 8-hour shift schedule, Monday through Friday. The third shift operates from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. A clean and safe work environment is guaranteed.
