Key Responsibilities

The Junior Property Underwriter plays a pivotal role in managing and growing their own portfolio of commercial property insurance solutions.


  • Establishes key partnerships with brokers to drive new business growth in the large and middle market accounts sectors.
  • Works closely with engineering teams to develop tailored, innovative solutions that meet clients' complex needs.
  • Collaborates across the organization to identify insurance requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Analyzes and underwrites new and renewal business within established frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification required.
  • Experience underwriting property lines in the middle market or large account segments is essential.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and marketing skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Advanced English language skills are highly desirable.
