Your Responsibilities

We are seeking Producers to join our Fortnite concept art production team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and organizing concept art tasks to enable artists to excel in their craft daily. Our producers focus on guiding concepts from their initial creation to ensuring they are prepared for production. We collaborate closely with the early stages of the art pipeline, including design, modeling, rigging, and animation. Ideal candidates are highly organized, possess exceptional communication skills, and are adept at managing complex project schedules. A passion for gaming, a solid understanding of dependency-driven production methodologies, and familiarity with a 3D art creation pipeline are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

In this position, you will

Manage the Schedule - Collaborate with art discipline leads and art directors to scope and schedule the necessary work for the team. Develop and maintain dependency-driven asset schedules to ensure timely delivery of content that meets Epic's Art Quality standards. Serve as the Communication Hub - Ensure constant communication with the art production team and cross-department production teams, providing transparency on asset status, risks, and opportunities. Keep stakeholders informed of any changes that may affect their teams. Proactively Identify Solutions - Demonstrate a strong ability to recognize issues and propose solutions for your team before they become obstacles. Maintain awareness of dependency deliverables and the project's overarching needs. Take ownership of your area and proactively clear any challenges. Exhibit Flexibility and Multitasking - Manage multiple large production needs within your department or across small strike teams. Identify and prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining strong communication through various channels, including email, Slack, meetings, and development roadmaps. Facilitate Development Operations - Organize team meetings, conduct daily art reviews, and oversee in-game content reviews while providing actionable feedback and follow-up to participants. Mentor and Support the Growth of Art Production Assistants. Oversee Shotgrid scheduling, triage, and tracking.

What We Seek

Previous experience in a production role managing art teams in the creation and delivery of high-quality art. Comprehensive understanding of dependency-driven pipelines, scheduling, asset tracking, and project management practices and tools. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Experience in an environment requiring exceptional problem-solving skills, viewing challenges as opportunities for success. Self-motivated, approaching challenges creatively and systematically, seeing them through to resolution. Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders within your team and across the organization. Capacity to drive high-velocity, high-impact development cycles, balancing immediate needs with long-term vision. Adaptability and effectiveness in new situations within a dynamic environment.
