This is a senior accounting position at Motorola Solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accounting entry, reconciliation, analysis and reporting functions within the organization.
Key responsibilities include preparing blocks of financial data for entry into general ledger, compiling and analyzing financial data for specific products, operating units, regions, or business lines.
Additional duties may include participating in analytical exercises with internal or external auditors, monthly/quarterly balance sheet review with region accounting manager, improving balance sheet health and reconciliation quality.
Closing accounts for Argentina, issue solving and late entry review/submission will also be part of the role.
The successful candidate will attend annual audits and prepare tax calculations and analyses.
They will ensure practice compliance with no exposure and provide accounting guidance to business/finance for existing business.
Fundamental knowledge of US GAAP is highly recommended, as well as strong analytical and reporting skills.
Excellent communication skills are also essential for this role.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, along with Oracle experience and international background preferred.
Travel requirements are under 10%, and relocation is not provided.
Position type is experienced and referral payment plan is available.
