Job Opportunity:

Maintenance Technicians play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep of our apartment community. Their primary responsibility is to perform routine maintenance tasks to maintain the property's overall condition.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with residents and vendors
  • Assist with annual inspections and identify areas for improvement
  • Report any lease or house rule violations
  • Meet deadlines for maintenance requests, work orders, and tenant needs
  • Collaborate with managers to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
  • Perform preventative maintenance duties to extend the lifespan of equipment and fixtures
  • Maintain excellent curb appeal and appearance of the property
Requirements:
  • Reliable transportation for travel to various sites
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • A personal smartphone with email, messaging, and app functionality
  • Strong communication skills for effective interactions with tenants, vendors, and corporate staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to positively engage with the public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Capacity to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Experience with subsidized housing (HUD, Tax Credit, or RD) is advantageous
  • General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
  • General grounds keeping skills to maintain the property's outdoor spaces
  • Ability to manage emergency situations effectively
  • Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
  • Good listening skills
