Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Representative to join our Origination team. The successful candidate will drive our acquisition activities by sourcing vertical-market-software companies that meet our strategic criteria. Key responsibilities include:
- Creatively identifying vertical market software businesses that meet our strategic criteria
- Maintaining and building a proprietary database of industry contacts
- Developing and conducting prospecting campaigns through email and outbound calling
- Engaging in meaningful dialogue with C-Suite Executives, financial advisors, investment bankers, and private equity firms while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
- Working in a team environment with Senior Business Development Associate and M&A Execution to ensure the smooth transition to the later stages of the process as appropriate
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
- Excellent academic performance in an Undergraduate Business degree
- Preference given to those candidates with 5 or more years of experience working in sales, consultancy, or professional services at a software company, broker firm, or M&A Boutique
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM beneficial
- Self-motivated, hands-on attitude with a sense of urgency towards driving sales and marketing lead volumes to generate a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
