Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Representative to join our Origination team. The successful candidate will drive our acquisition activities by sourcing acquisitions of vertical-market-software companies through:

  • Creative identification of vertical market software businesses meeting our strategic criteria
  • Maintenance and building of a proprietary database of industry contacts
  • Development and conduct of prospecting campaigns through email and outbound calling
  • Engagement in meaningful dialogue with C-Suite Executives, financial advisors, investment bankers, and private equity firms while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
  • Collaboration with Senior Business Development Associate and M&A Execution to ensure smooth transition to later stages of the process

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
  • Excellent academic performance in an Undergraduate Business degree
  • Preference given to candidates with 5 or more years of experience in sales, consultancy, or professional services at a software company, broker firm, or M&A Boutique
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM beneficial
  • Self-motivated, hands-on attitude with a sense of urgency towards driving sales and marketing lead volumes to generate a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
