Expert Payments Operations Specialist

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payment processing by fostering strong relationships with various stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance operational efficiency.


Job Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including business partners and technology teams, to ensure seamless payment processing and minimize disruptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to resolve payment-related issues and concerns, escalating complex problems to senior management as needed.
  • Implement and enforce robust controls to prevent and detect payment errors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payments operations or a related field, with a strong understanding of payment systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications, such as AP/AR certification or other relevant industry designations.
  • Experience with financial software applications, including but not limited to SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to payments operations.
