This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and transform our property facultative business in one of Latin America's most dynamic markets.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to drive the underwriting and sales strategy for our P&C Facultative business in Brazil. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive business plan that drives profitable growth while maintaining underwriting quality and portfolio value.
About the Role:In this strategic role, you will have full P&L responsibility and ownership of client relationships. You will be responsible for driving origination of new business, developing solutions corresponding to client needs, and promoting innovation through new business solutions and products.
You will also be responsible for supervising and steering the P&C Facultative portfolio in Brazil, leading and empowering the local team, and collaborating across business units and functions to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
About the Team:We are a client-centric and results-oriented team with underwriting and origination roles, where drive, collaboration, and passion are key pillars.
About You:We are looking for a leader with a real passion for developing teams, who promotes teamwork and cooperation across business units, countries, and functions. You should have proven experience of 7 to 10 years in Property and Casualty re/insurance underwriting, including excellent understanding of the Brazilian and South Cone markets, products, and trends.
- Excellent understanding of the Brazilian insurance regulatory environment;
- Track record as a successful sales leader and dealmaker in originating new business;
- Management skills in developing people, being a motivational mentor who can unlock potential in others;
- Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and English, additional languages appreciated.
