Investigator Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced investigator to join our organization. The Employment Investigator will be responsible for conducting thorough and fair investigations into employee matters, including potential violations of law or company policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct complex investigations end-to-end, including intake meetings, background research, investigative interviews, debrief meetings, and drafting final investigative reports.
  • Investigate high-risk and highly sensitive cases relating to allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, bullying, conflict of interest, integrity, and other inappropriate behavior.
  • Partner with legal, HR, and Employee Relations Advisors, and the business to conduct prompt, thorough, and fair investigations.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate employment risks leveraging quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Maintain a robust ethics hotline.
  • Prepare and conduct trainings on ethics and workplace matters.
  • Draft and implement ethics and compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience investigating and advising on employment-related matters.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and working with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Experience documenting and presenting investigation findings and recommendations to business leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong communicator/influencer with ability to work cross-functionally and internationally.
