Substation Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced electrical systems expert to join our team of professionals.
About the Role- The ideal candidate will possess expertise in substation automation, protection and control systems, with a strong understanding of digital communication technology and experience in fault analysis, time synchronization systems, and disturbance fault recorders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities- Designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting substation automation, P&C systems
- Leading factory acceptance and commissioning tests for substation automation, P&C systems
- Configuring and developing application software for substation automation, P&C products
- Designing, configuring, analyzing, and troubleshooting industrial networks for substation automation, P&C systems
- Analyzing, designing, and troubleshooting communication protocols for substation automation, P&C systems
The ideal candidate will possess:
Qualifications and Requirements- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation and control engineering or computer sciences
- Solid experience in substation automation
- Understanding of electrical substations process and equipment
- Understanding of electrical substations instrument equipment
- Understanding of Brazilian regulation standards for substation automation, P&C systems
- Fluent Portuguese proficiency
- Advanced English proficiency
- Desirable advanced Spanish proficiency
- Excellent analytics and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of 8 series and UR products/IEDs for substation automation
- Good communication skills
- Positive mindset and resilience
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge
