Senior Program Officer, Founder Initiatives

The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Officer to join our team in Founder Initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and designing founder grants, serving as a lead partner contact, and managing a portfolio of existing grants.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Managing Director and Deputy Director to develop and design founder grants
- Provide ongoing monitoring and results tracking for the portfolio of Founder Initiatives grantees
- Draft memos, grant analysis and recommendations, and summary reports
- Manage grant budgets and ensure compliance with foundation practices
- Develop relationships across the Blank Family of Businesses to ensure strong knowledge and alignment with foundation priorities
- Conduct research and remain abreast of current news and philanthropic strategies
- Collaborate with the Effective Philanthropy team on programs and grants
- Represent the foundation in external meetings and conferences
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about philanthropy and supporting individuals, organizations, and communities to thrive. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or equivalent experience is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in philanthropy and/or nonprofit leadership
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with CyberGrants a plus
This is an in-person role at the Arthur M. Blank Family Office, with frequent travel to meetings offsite and occasionally beyond Atlanta, Georgia.
