Role Overview

As the Sustainability Coordinator, you will oversee the execution of our childhood obesity prevention initiative in Brazil. This program is currently in its planning stages, offering you the chance to shape its direction and implementation strategy from the ground up. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing partnerships with organizations responsible for executing and assessing the program's effectiveness, ensuring adherence to the established framework and objectives.
  • Collaborating with our global health equity team and international partners to maintain strategic coherence and share updates, insights, and communications with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engaging with representatives from municipalities and other involved entities to ensure cohesive implementation across various parties.
  • Supporting the rollout of additional prevention initiatives led by Novo Nordisk in Brazil, aligning with our broader health equity strategy.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in administration, institutional relations, social communication, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification in public health is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English and fluency in Portuguese.
  • Proven experience in managing projects related to sustainability, social development, or public health, particularly with diverse stakeholders and external partners.
  • Experience in primary prevention and/or chronic disease projects (such as obesity, diabetes, or cardiovascular diseases) is considered a plus.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
