We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team in Antarctica. As a Fishing Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process on board our vessels, ensuring that operations are optimized and running smoothly.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the production process to ensure high-quality products and efficient operations.
  • Maintaining equipment and performing regular checks to prevent downtime and minimize maintenance costs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals and improve overall performance.
  • Developing and implementing new processes and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A background in process engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working in a similar environment with a strong understanding of fishing operations and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.

Location: Antarctica/Vessel

Travel and rotation: Crew changes are normally arranged in Montevideo, Punta Arenas, and Puerto Williams. Rotation is approximately 8 weeks on and off but may deviate slightly due to operation.
