We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at MainStreet Family Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering top-notch care to our patients.
Responsibilities:- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, assessment, treatment, and discharge.
- Triage patients promptly and ensure smooth workflow.
- Document vital signs, weight, and updates to patient medical history prior to each visit.
- Perform lab tests in compliance with clinical guidelines and provider instructions.
- Manage digital patient records and support transition from paper records to electronic systems.
- Prepare examination rooms for patient appointments, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
- Provide support in the front office, handling tasks like answering phone calls and welcoming patients.
- Administer prescribed medications under provider supervision.
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Prior Medical Assisting experience or education is beneficial but not required.
