Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director for the LATAM region. The ideal candidate will be based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and will work remotely, reporting to the Regional Sales Director LATAM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Market Development: Develop and implement the business plan, and achieve the business targets in line with the company's strategy. Explore business opportunities through direct customer engagement or managing agents/distribution channels.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Create and deliver value propositions tailored to customer needs. Educate customers on new opportunities and tailor solutions to their specific requirements. Guide customers through decision-making and address objections confidently.
  • People Management: Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve their targets and grow professionally. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Indirect Sales and Distribution Management: Manage relationships with indirect sales channels and distributors. Ensure distributors are equipped with the necessary resources and training. Monitor distributor performance and provide feedback.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 7 years of sales management experience in lubricant additives or related lubricant industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of LATAM market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Experience with indirect sales and distribution management.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team. Effective communication skills in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
