Job Description

At the forefront of improving healthcare outcomes, our organization seeks a seasoned professional to lead our Public Affairs initiatives in LATAM. As a Health Economics and Outcome Research Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving policy, lawmaking, and public support for cardiovascular patients worldwide.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality health economic and outcomes research analyses and associated activities in evidence generation to the Public Affairs LatAm team.
  • Synthesizing and adapting data to build the value propositions of Edwards's products.
  • Engaging Key Stakeholders from HTA and value-based organizations.
  • Developing projects and activities related to economics, including cost-effectiveness modelling, budget impact model, tools, and other value-based approaches from a payer perspective of EW products in LATAM with accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables.
  • Understanding private and public decision-making processes related to main organizations - CONITEC and ANS.
  • Supporting management of projects for multiple products as part of the LATAM Public Affairs Team.
  • Leading cross-functional teams (Clinical, Marketing, and others) to develop Value Propositions and Dossiers for innovations.
  • Developing and preparing abstracts, posters, presentations, Value Frameworks, and manuscripts as required to support communication of evidence and train internal teams.
  • Collaborating with EMEACLA Public Affairs teams to ensure that the LATAM region's needs and perspectives are timely factors in PA strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Pharmacist, or other related fields.
  • 5+ years of previous related experience, or Master's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Health economics and Outcomes Research training background is preferred.
  • Fluent English level.

  • Ability to represent leadership on sections of projects within a specific area interfacing with project managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to build good relationships with KOLs and Healthcare-related authorities as appropriate.
