This vital position involves working as part of a clinical team to provide exceptional care under the guidance of licensed professionals. Assist with administrative, clinical, and clerical duties including taking patients' histories, scheduling appointments, responding to communications, and preparing exam rooms.

  • Prepare equipment and maintain exam areas for smooth patient workflow.
  • Gather accurate patient information and medication refill data, adhering to established protocols.
  • Collect and prepare lab specimens and requisitions, ensuring timely referrals and procedures.
  • Identify potential patient risks and communicate these to the licensed nurse or provider in a timely manner.
  • Maintain adherence to EMR workflows and perform related tasks efficiently.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Medical Assisting or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced healthcare settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association within 30 days.
