Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux web hosting infrastructure, monitoring system performance, assisting the Support team as needed, and escalating issues promptly.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve common Linux issues such as mail deliverability, high CPU load, and Apache outages. Proficiency in Rocky or AlmaLinux 8/9 and familiarity with tools like cPanel, CloudLinux, LAMP stack, and Linux system diagnostics tools are also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator in a web hosting environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve common Linux issues
  • Proficiency in Rocky or AlmaLinux 8/9 and familiarity with tools like cPanel, CloudLinux, LAMP stack, and Linux system diagnostics tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with virtualization systems (preferably KVM) at both the hypervisor and guest VM levels
  • Proficiency in bash scripting and Python with the ability to interpret and modify scripts as needed
