The role of credit risk management involves analyzing the creditworthiness of individuals and entities, assigning risk ratings, recommending or approving credit extensions or withdrawals, and providing ongoing monitoring of credit exposures. This position manages portfolios that require management for delinquency, ensuring a balance between risk and return, and maintaining compliance with credit policies.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and assess business problems, leveraging extensive knowledge of industry standards and practices to evaluate potential risks in assigned portfolios.
- Review and suggest improvements in credit risk processes for assigned portfolios based on in-depth analysis and industry best practices.
- Communicate potential risks to senior management and provide regular updates about review status.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and adapt to changing regulations.
- 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in credit portfolio monitoring and analysis.
- Deep disciplinary knowledge within the field, integrated with subject matter and industry experience.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of business operations and strategies.
- Expertise in resolving complex business problems independently using analytical thinking and logical reasoning.
