Diagnostic Technician Job Summary

Responsible for verifying electronic circuit board assemblies and diagnosing and repairing defects to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair opens, shorts, and boundary scan failures to component level on electronic circuit board assemblies.
  • Exhibit proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • Assist Test Engineering department in evaluating data to improve diagnosis efficiency.
  • Understand and adhere to production requirements, rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with Diagnostic department to achieve process yield goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of software packages.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and comprehend visual aids.
