We are seeking a proactive and self-driven Data Engineer who excels in Production Support. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building data pipelines and infrastructure, and thrives in fast-paced environments where supporting live systems and resolving issues is critical.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems.
- Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries and Python scripts.
- Monitor and support production data workflows, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents or data issues, including handling support tickets and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response when needed.
- Work closely with DevOps and Engineering teams to implement improvements in data infrastructure.
- Maintain clear documentation for processes, data flows, and issue resolution.
- Strong experience with SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Solid background in Data Engineering and Production Support.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
