Job Overview

This role is focused on delivering deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of clients. Our team operates within an IBM Consulting Client Innovation Center, where we work closely with clients to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining distributed data pipelines using tools such as Dataproc, PySpark, and Dataflow. Additionally, you will model and manage large volumes of data, ensuring performance and scalability.

  • Design and implement distributed data architectures
  • Model and manage large volumes of data (Big Data)
  • Work with containers and master orchestration solutions, such as Kubernetes
  • Apply good software development practices: clean code, implementation of tests, version control (Git), and documentation
Required Skills And Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with strong experience in data modeling and advanced SQL skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in Cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and solid experience in architectures and creating cloud data pipelines.

  • Proven experience in data modeling and advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Practical experience in Cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Solid experience in distributed data processing, using tools like Dataproc, PySpark, and Dataflow
  • Established practice in applying good software practices, including clean code, implementation of automated testing, version control, and documentation
